Well, I guess I should have worried!

The installers arrived yesterday about 6:00 pm and departed about 6:20 without doing anything but upsetting me. :(

One of the pedestals was damaged and I wouldn't accept anything until they had that pedestal to put under the appliance they were delivering. The old washer still works and will have to keep working until they come back next Thursday...hopefully...with undamaged and working new washer, dryer and a pair of pedestals to put them on.

I contacted Samsung support about this and they are shipping out a replacement for the damaged pedestal and rescheduling the delivery and installation for next Thursday. I told the woman on the phone that the delivery man said he couldn't switch the dryer to side venting. She said that should have been done and that  she'd make a note that someone who knows what they are doing will do the installation next time.

Today, it rained, off and on, all day, but I needed to wash a couple of loads of clothes. I did and hung them on a clothesline stretched back and forth on the carport. Clothes haven't dried after several hours hanging, but I guess I might have to leave them overnight...and if they aren't dry then take them to a laundromat.

Like I said, "if it isn't one thing, it's another." <sigh>
